As the first work of the project I present my partnership with the Egyptian artist Mahmoud Kandil, who with poetry expresses his reality and experience. Having performed several performances with his spoken words, he has already taken the strength of his poems to Paris in November 2018. "When there is an obstacle that keeps you from continuing, you have nothing but to face and endure the consequence. I wrote this to face the obstacle. To say that you are the king, but I am not a slave, I am free and I can speak and write, you know. I wrote the poem after my return to Egypt and interrupted a period of music by force, and tried to return and face the consequences."
