Memento are carnival songs for ghosts, an empty place beyond the time where things just are. In it, elements of spirituality and faith are mixed with a playful and macabre sound. The tracks were composed using code, sounding random at times, and almost all instruments were performed by ghosts, in the deepest darkness of the 2020 quarantine. Equally spiritual and naughty, the album is also an exploration of the mix between computational, Brazilian and Latin American music, and of possible paths for an identity affirmation in the context of generative music. From the tenderest longing to the most terrifying fun, Memento occupies a unique non-space, whose damn charm will forever exist.
