The first album of the LORI project has nine songs recorded on trips or in Leandra's homestudio near Visconde de Mauá (in the mountains of Rio de Janeiro, in the middle of the Atlantic Forest), between 2016 and 2018. It is a kind of initiatory journey to the interior of the earth, a sublunar and primal territory. The track The Rye and The Ray Undone, which revolves around a single take of the voice with live effects, including a chorus with harmonies in which the voice becomes also male, is featured on Tropical Twista Records' compilation Hystereofônica 1 . Soninaetenu is one of the most emblematic songs, in which all layers were made with the voice processed in real time, inventing a language, chants and invocations, loops over loops, "on the fly", in a single session/trance that evokes a sabbath. Nobody (Phantom) is a voice improvisation, ghost detector, drums and pedals, guttural, obsessive and noisy. The detector was built in a workshop with Tara Pattenden a.k.a Phantom Chips at the Festival Novas Frequências 2017. A demo version was broadcast on Late Junction on BBC radio 3 London, in a program with Tara. Another six songs, five of them unreleased, make up the album.
